Universal Pictures has released the Super Bowl TV spot for The Fate of the Furious (or Fast & Furious 8 as it will be known in the UK), and it’s every bit as batsh*t crazy you probably expected! Featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson taking on Vin Diesel, the foo-oh, who are we kidding? That’s probably all you need to know to want to check this out immediately!
All jokes aside, this looks like tremendous fun, even if 99% of what we see is ridiculous.
In Fast & Furious 8, the movie kicks off with Dom and Letty on their honeymoon, while Brian and Mia have retired from the game. The rest of the crew meanwhile has been exonerated, and the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. However, when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.
The trailer is unlikely to change the minds of those who don’t the like franchise, but it looks like a lot of fun, and you can watch the action-packed first trailer by clicking right here.
