We saw a great first teaser poster for The World’s End over the summer, and now a brilliant new teaser has debuted over at Empire, giving us a look at the sign for the final eponymous pub on their journey.
“20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.”
Pegg and Frost once more lead the cast, with a fantastic line-up joining them in the form of Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, and Paddy Considine.
Wright and Pegg have once more partnered up to pen the script, and it’s pretty much a given that this is going to be one of the best films of 2013.
The World’s End will be reaching us in the height of summer, with a release set for 14th August, 2013, here in the UK. No word yet on a US release, but given the popularity of the first two films, it’s likely it will be arriving around the same time. For now, here’s the brilliant new poster. Enjoy.
