Fantastic Four might be one of the most controversial movies of 2015. With many comic book fans rejecting this realistic take on the iconic Marvel Comics superheroes and rumours of some serious issues behind the scenes (which led to Josh Trank reportedly being fired from his Star Wars Anthology movie), it sounds like it could end up being a real mess.

The first clip has now been released from Fantastic Four, and it’s fair to say it looks pretty good! However, news that the review embargo is just a day before the movie is released in North America has left many already sceptical fans fretting about how it’s going to turn out!

Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is described by 20th Century Fox as a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

The team is made up of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller, Whiplash), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kate Mara, House of Cards), Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Michael, B. Jordan, Chronicle), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Jamie Bell, Billy Elliot). Their main foe? Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell, Black Mirror). It’s set to be released next week!
