The first two posters for Spanish sci-fi/romantic comedy Extraterrestrial have hit the web.
The film follows a young man who happens to meet the girl of his dreams moments before a full-on alien invasion strikes the earth. Isn’t that always the case when you fall for a pretty lady!
The posters (below) have a nice retro feel to them (particularly the first one) and even if the other is a little reminiscent of District 9 and Independence Day, it’s still an effectively piece of marketing.
Director Nacho Vigalondo previously scored a hit with his sci-fi thriller Timecrimes (check out the original before the proposed Tom Cruise Hollywood remake rears it’s ugly head) and this new film is currently in post-production with a release date set for sometime in 2011.
