An exclusive first look has arrived for ‘Turn Up the Sun’ — the 13th indie, improv-led feature from Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams, known for his distinctive approach to spontaneous storytelling in acclaimed films such as ‘Black Mountain Poets,’ ‘Wild Honey Pie!‘ and ‘She Is Love.’
The newly revealed poster teases the film’s existential tension and sun-drenched intensity, capturing the raw, improvisational energy that defines Adams’ work.

Described as an “existential happening presented as a heated thriller,” ‘Turn Up the Sun’ stars James McAvoy, Aisling Franciosi, Lucas Bravo, Leila Farzad, and Almudena Amor (The Good Boss). The project was shot over six days, entirely improvised from a story outline and made on a very low budget — in keeping with Adams’ guerrilla filmmaking ethos.
‘Turn Up the Sun’ will make its World Premiere at the legendary Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia on November 12, before its release by Altitude in the UK and Vertical in the US.
