Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is nearly upon us, and with it the live-action debut of director Brad Bird.
So far his animated efforts, The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Ratatouille have been very nearly flawless, and while you’ll see in our review of the film – due later this week – we had a few issues with it, there are still some great moments.
Yesterday we published our interview with franchise new boy Jeremy Renner, where he talked about collaborating with Tom Cruise to create the character, and revealed that the script evolved during production.
In our interview with Bird we elaborated upon this, and found out how much involvement Cruise and producer JJ Abrams had on the movie, as well as the effects, both positive and negative of changing the script, and the story, as the film went on.
