Prime Video has released the official trailer for ‘Every Year After,’ the upcoming romantic drama series based on ‘Every Summer After’ by Carley Fortune. The emotionally charged adaptation transforms the bestselling novel into an eight-episode series filled with first love, heartbreak, nostalgia and the memories that linger long after summer fades.

Set across six years and one pivotal week in Barry’s Bay, the series follows Percy and Sam, whose connection deepens over countless summers spent together in the idyllic lake town. The trailer teases a heartfelt story packed with longing glances, bittersweet reunions and the kind of romance that leaves permanent fingerprints on a person’s life.

Leading the series are Sadie Soverall as Percy and Matt Cornett as Sam, the central couple whose evolving relationship anchors the story. The cast also includes Aurora Perrineau, Abigail Cowen, Michael Bradway, Joseph Chiu and Elisha Cuthbert.

The adaptation arrives with significant anticipation following the massive success of Fortune’s novel, which spent 16 weeks on The New York Times Bestseller list and has sold more than one million copies worldwide. The book also became a major phenomenon on BookTok, where the hashtag for ‘Every Summer After’ has generated more than 81.4 million views.

Behind the scenes, Amy B. Harris serves as showrunner and executive producer. Fortune also executive produces alongside Lindsey Liberatore, Amy Rardin, John Stephens and Grace Gilroy.
