Way back when (July 2nd to be exact), Ben predicted that Emma Stone was the hot favourite to take the role as Mary Jane Watson in the new reboot of the Spider-Man movie. Looks like he hits the nail on the head as Deadline has just put up the news that Sony will be offering Stone the role imminently.
Stone worked with Sony on movie, Zombieland and Easy A. Stone will act opposite actor, Andrew Garfield who will take on the lead as Spider-Man in the Marc Webb directed movie which we’re hoping will be with us 2012.
