The husband and wife duo of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski could be on the verge of working together yet again on Annapurna’s ‘Not Fade Away. Blunt is currently in talks to star in the film which Krasinski is producing alongside David O. Russell.

The movie will be based on Rebecca Alexander’s 2015 memoir ‘Not Fade Away: A Memoir of Senses Lost and Found’. The story follows Alexander who was born with a rare genetic mutation called Usher syndrome type III and has been simultaneously losing both her sight and hearing since she was a child. A fall from a window left her body completely shattered at the age of 18, but over the next two decades, she became a psychotherapist with two masters degrees and an athlete who teaches spin classes — despite her limited sight and hearing.

Lindsey Ferrentino is penning the script which also sees Allyson Seeger and Matthew Budman join Krasinski and Russell as producers.

Krasinski and Blunt previously worked together on ‘A Quiet Place’ and will reunite yet again for the film’s sequel. We last saw Blunt don her red hat and walking stick as the beloved Mary Poppins in ‘Mary Poppins Returns’. The role saw Blunt nominated for a Golden Globe and SAG. Most recently she has been working alongside Dwayne Johnson on ‘Jungle Cruise’.

As well, as returning to the director’s chair for the ‘A Quiet Place’ sequel, Krasinski is also the face of ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ series.
