Peggy Olson is taking a well deserved break from the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce to tread the boards over here in the UK, in the West End stage revival of The Children’s Hour.

Variety is reporting that Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss is joining  Keira Knightley in the story of  an angry female student, who in an attempt to avoid school, she tells her grandmother that the two headmistresses are having a lesbian affair. The accusation proceeds to destroy the women’s careers, relationships and lives.

Moss and Knighley will play the headmistresses, parts which went to both Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine in the 1961 screen adaptation of the play.
