Just a couple of weeks ago we interviewed Luke Grimes for Yellowstone spin-off Marshalls, and now we step back into this world for another spin-off of the immensely popular show, this time speaking to Kelly Reilly for her return at Beth Dutton in Paramount+ series Dutton Ranch.
In this exclusive interview she opens up about continuing Beth and Rip’s story after the emotional Yellowstone finale, discussing why she originally thought the spin-off would never happen & how Paramount convinced the cast to return, while she expands on what excites her most about exploring new sides to a character she knows so well.
She also talks about working alongside acting legends Ed Harris and Annette Bening, the incredible legacy of the Yellowstone franchise, and why filming in Montana became such a life-changing experience for the cast. She also reflects on the fear and pressure she felt during Yellowstone’s early seasons, how she transformed into Beth Dutton, and why the character still means so much to her nearly a decade later.
