Following on from their big wins at the Ohio Journalism Awards, the rag-tag team at the Toledo Truth Teller are back for season two of mockumentary sit-com, ‘The Paper’.
Ramona Young and Melvin Gregg sat down with HeyUGuys to discuss their will-they-won’t-they relationship in season one, and what we can expect from their character arcs in the upcoming series. They tease an especially funny scene from the finale, and discuss how this season feels wilder than the last.
We also get their insight on what makes the mockumentary format special, and they reveal what makes ‘The Paper’ stand out within the Greg Daniels’ sit-com multiverse.
The Paper Season 2 premieres on Peacock on 9 September 2026 and on arrives on Sky and NOW in the UK on 10 September 2026.
