Mancini is responsible for bringing Child’s Play to audiences back in 1988 and since then there have been various iterations of the franchise leading up to Cult of Chucky. The original trilogy were straight up horrors where as Bride and Seed were much more comical. Cult of Chucky comes 29 years after the original and during the interview (conducted by Daniel Goodwin), Mancini and Tilly discuss why they think it is that Chucky has outlasted many other franchises including the likes of Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser and many more.

Tilly has been a part of the franchise for over 20 years now and also talks about how the films have changed in tone over the years, how the franchise can continue for another 30 years and how she’s loved being a part of her life for such a long time. She also talks about how it’s been so fundamental that writer / director Dan Mancini has been a part of the life of the Chucky movies since he created it back in the 1980s.

Dourif tells us what it was like joining the franchise with her father Brad Dourif voicing Chucky since the beginning and how nervous she was during her audition.
