This teaser poster hit the internetosphere late last night but in case you haven’t seen it yet here’s the first marketing punch thrown in favour of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and very nice it looks too.
It’s another understated premise from Tarantino with Jamie Foxx’s titular slave released by bounty hunter Christoph Waltz (making a glorious return to the fold following his time with the Basterds) and out to rescue his wife from the owner of a dangerous club called Candyland, where slaves are sold for sex or made to fight to the death.
Foxx and Waltz are joined by Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Sacha Baron Cohen and Anthony LaPaglia. Looks nuts. Can’t wait.
