David Duchovny, Jack Whitehall and Carice Van Houten have joined the cast of Prime Video’s psychological thriller series ‘Malice.’

A detailed plot description are being kept top secret for the time being. Still, sources say the series will follow a young man (Whitehall) who seeks to infiltrate the world of a wealthy family, with Duchovny and van Houten playing the heads of that family.

The latest thriller series for Prime Video comes from writer and executive producer James Wood (The Great, Rev). The series will be a co-production between Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films for Prime Video.

Duchovny’s recent film credits include ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines,’ ‘You People,’ and ‘What Happens Later.’

Whitehall is known for his work in shows like ‘Fresh Meat’ and ‘Bad Education’ as well as ‘The Afterparty’ at Apple TV+ and ‘Good Omens’ at Prime Video.

Van Houten previously starred in the megahit HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’ in the role of Melisandre. She has also starred in the ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ series at Starz and films such as ‘Brimstone’ and ‘Incarnate.’
