StudioCanal has unveiled the first look image from ‘INK,’ the upcoming explosive drama from Academy and BAFTA Award-winning director Danny Boyle.
The film stars BAFTA winner Jack O’Connell as The Sun editor Larry Lamb, alongside Academy Award nominee Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch and BAFTA nominee Claire Foy as Jules Davies.
Set against the rise of a new kind of news, ‘INK’ follows a group of visionaries and misfits whose bold idea would transform the newspaper industry and change the face of the world around them.

The film is directed by Danny Boyle, whose acclaimed credits include ’28 Years Later,’ ‘Trainspotting’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ The screenplay comes from multi-Olivier Award-winning playwright and screenwriter James Graham, whose work includes ‘Dear England,’ ‘Sherwood’ and ‘Brexit.’
‘INK’ is based on Graham’s Tony-nominated play and promises to bring the larger-than-life personalities and turbulent world behind the creation of a new media empire to the big screen.
‘INK’ will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on Friday 8 January 2027.
