Mark Millar is not the sort of comic book writer who holds back with his work (see: American Jesus, Wanted, etc.), so it should come as no surprise that Matthew Vaughn delivered an equally no holds barred live-action adaptation of the critically acclaimed Kick-Ass.
Given the series it was based on and the fact it had been given an R-Rating you may be wondering why all the swearing and bloody violence bothered people, but it was the then 12 year old Chloe Grace Moretz being responsible for the majority of it which created a stir!
Despite it being made clear that her mother had been on set and given the ok to the most shocking of lines, that didn’t stop the tabloids from kicking off. Even so, people still ended up loving the movie!
