Here’s the first look at Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence in their new space-movie ‘Passengers’. The film is directed by Morten Tyldum who recently worked on The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch and prior to that on the fantastic Headhunters with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The script (written by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus)) managed to get onto the 2007 Black List which is the annual ranking of the best scripts out there which at the time haven’t been green-lit. Sounds like we might be in for something special here especially with Pratt and Lawrence in the leads and being joined by Lawrence Fishburne and Michael Sheen.

The 2 new images come from Entertainment Weekly who spoke to the director who gave in insight into the shoot which took place in Atlanta in 2015.

“Most of the shooting was just with Chris and Jen. It was a very technical film with big sets and a lot of effects but at the same time, it’s a character drama. It’s a love story. It has the complexity of a big movie and at the same time we really had to put time aside to put into character development. And it’s exhausting. They were on every day. It’s big emotions: it’s desperation, it’s love, it’s happiness, it’s fear, it’s anger. It was big emotions every day.”
