‘Avengers’ stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannson are set to reunite in AppleTV’s adventure movie ‘Ghosted.’
With plot details being kept under lock and key, the project is being described as a high-concept romantic action-adventure in the vein of ‘Romancing the Stone’, the 1984 adventure movie that starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.
‘Rocketman’ director Dexter Fletcher will take the helm on the movie penned by ‘Deadpool and Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Johansson was last seen in Marvel’s ‘Black Widow’, she is currently filming Wed Anderson’s latest untitled project alongside Margot Robbie, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and the recently cast Tom Hanks. Outside of the MCU, Johansson starred in ‘Marriage Story’ and ‘Jojo Rabbit.’
Evans, having given up the tight lycra and Captain America shield is starting to spread his wings again. He previously starred in AppleTV’s legal drama ‘Defending Jacob’ and recently wrapped on Joe and Anthony Russo’s ‘The Gray Man’ which he stars alongside Ryan Gosling.
