When Tom Hiddleston was cast as Loki in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor back in 2011, no one expected for him to become as popular as he now is. With a devoted fan following and additional appearances in The Avengers (as the lead villain no less) and Thor: The Dark World, fans are now just sitting back and hoping that his God of Mischief will appear again sooner rather than later.

As you should remember, in Thor: The Dark World, Loki at one point transforms into Captain America, but in order for Chris Evans to effectively play Tom Hiddleston playing him, the British actor donned The First Avenger’s costume as a basis for Evans’ surprise cameo. In the following video from Empire Online, we actually get to see Hiddleston in Cap’s suit as he acts out his version of the hero.

Also below is a brief glimpse of Hiddleston’s screen test for the role of Thor. He was originally up for that part before it was given to Rush star Chris Hemsworth. While his take on the God of Thunder would have been an interesting one, it’s fair to say that everything worked out for the best in this case! The full audition is expected to be included on the Thor: The Dark World Blu-ray.
