Released during tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, the first clip from Captain America: Civil War has found its way online, and it’s packed full of amazing action as we see The Avengers – Cap, The Falcon, and Scarlet Witch – heading into action against Crossbones’ forces.

One of the coolest things here is seeing Redwing. An actual bird in the comic books, he’s a drone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and can be seen being utilised by Sam Wilson to find out where Crossbones (Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s Frank Grillo) is hiding.

The official synopsis reveals that Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is currently set to be released worldwide on May 6th, 2016.
