They will star alongside Woody Harrelson, Ice Cube and Ben Foster in the thriller to be directed by Oren Moverman.
Rampart “is based on a story by James Ellroy. It follows a single cop against the backdrop of the corruption scandal surrounding anti-gang unit of the LAPD’s Rampart Division in the late 1990s.”
Moverman previously worked with Harrelson on the critically-acclaimed 2009 film The Messenger, so it’s promising to hear they’ll be reteaming with one hell of a supporting cast.
Expect this to be released in late 2011, possibly in time for festival/awards season.
