Our latest dispatch from the cinematic cauldron of delight that is the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival comes from the premiere of Mike White’s new project – Brad’s Status. His second film as director, after 2007’s Year of the Dog, he was one of the scribes responsible for The Emoji Movie, though he also gave us School of Rock and was a producer on Freaks and Geeks.

The film stars Ben Stiller, Austin Abrams, Jenna Fischer, Michael Sheen, Shazi Raja, Luisa Lee, Jermaine Clement and Luke Wilson. Stefan and Dave Sztypuljak were on the red carpet for and spoke to the cast about the film, which sees a release this week on Amazon.

The film was written and directed by Mike White and stars Ben Stiller, Austin Abrams, Jenna Fischer, Michael Sheen, Shazi Raja, Luisa Lee, Jermaine Clement and Luke Wilson.

The film is released in the US on the 15th of September.
