Prime Video has unveiled the first official images from ‘Boys of Tommen,’ the highly anticipated new romantic drama series based on Irish author Chloe Walsh’s BookTok sensation and #1 New York Times bestselling book series.
The first-look images give fans their first glimpse at Nancy Surridge as Shannon Lynch and Conor Sánchez as Johnny Kavanagh, the young couple at the heart of the sweeping coming-of-age story. The images were revealed during Prime Video’s Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26, a two-day immersive event held in the Bavarian Alps, Germany.
‘Boys of Tommen’ follows Johnny Kavanagh, a star rugby player whose sporting career appears destined for the professional ranks, and Shannon Lynch, a talented but painfully shy new student at the prestigious Tommen College in Ballylaggin, Ireland.

Although the pair come from very different worlds, Johnny and Shannon find themselves drawn into a secret and intensely charged relationship. Beneath the surface, however, both teenagers are carrying heavy secrets.
Johnny is dealing with a potentially career-ending injury that threatens everything he has worked towards, while Shannon is struggling with a troubled and violent home life. As their relationship develops, the two teenagers find themselves battling circumstances seemingly stacked against them and discover that their connection may give them a chance to save one another.
The series is now in production and is being directed by VMA-nominated filmmaker Brendan Canty, whose previous work includes ‘Christy.’
Nancy Surridge leads the series as Shannon Lynch, with Conor Sánchez playing Johnny Kavanagh. James O’Donoghue stars as Joey Lynch, while Sophie McGibbon plays Aoife Molloy.
The core ensemble also includes Amelia May as Claire Biggs, John Hewson as Gerard Gibson, Indy Lewis as Lizzie Young, Alex Dunne as Hugh Biggs, Dixie Egerickx as Katie Wilmot and Jamie Schneider as Patrick Feely.
The wider cast features Daisy Jacob as Bella Wilkinson, Jonathan Heed as Cormac Ryan, Cathal Ó Síocháin as Ronan McGarry, James Craven as Pierce O’Neill and Lewis Brophy as Podge.
The adult cast includes Eoin Macken as Teddy Lynch, Róisín Gallagher as Marie Lynch, Amy Huberman as Edel Kavanagh, Jonathan Forbes as John Snr and Tristan Heanue as Tony Molloy. Their characters are the parents whose decisions and circumstances play a significant role in shaping the lives of the young protagonists.
Harvey Moloney and Cobhan O’Brien round out the cast as Ollie Lynch and Tadhg Lynch, Shannon’s younger brothers.
Further details, including the series release date, are expected to be announced by Prime Video in due course.
