Sky has revealed the first-look trailer for the second series of the acclaimed original comedy ‘Bloods’ airing Wednesday 16 March on Sky Comedy and streaming service NOW.

Samson Kayo and Jane Horrocks are back on-screen as South London’s finest oddball dream team Wendy and Maleek, along with their paramedic colleagues in the day-to-day life-saving world of an emergency service.

The ten-episode series will air in two five-part drops and welcomes a new source of conflict for Wendy and Maleek in the form of Wendy’s deeply irritating son, Spencer (Nathan Foad). Also joining the cast is Katherine Kelly (Innocent, Liar) as the ambulance station’s acting counsellor and a listening ear. This series sees Jo’s crush on Lawrence revealed, Darrel and Darryl facing separation and Gary and Kareshma becoming emotionally involved with a patient., so a councellor may be just what the team need!

The show’s returning cast includes Lucy Punch (Motherland) as boisterous station boss Jo, and Julian Barratt (Mighty Boosh) as grieving widower Lawrence. Adrian Scarborough (Gavin and Stacey) and Aasiya Shah (Raised By Wolves) reprise their roles as Gary and Kareshma, paramedics with diametrically opposing career outlooks, and Kevin Garry (Ted Lasso) and Sam Campbell as the glued-to-the-hip duo of paramedics Darrell and Darryl.
