Netflix has released a set of episodic posters to represent each installment of season 5 of the hotly anticipated ‘Black Mirror’.
The new season of the anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, brings three new stories into the fold. With each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable – and sometimes unsettling – conclusion.
Black Mirror Season 5 features three all-new stories, ‘Smithereens’ focuses on a cab driver with an agenda becomes the centre of attention on a day that rapidly spirals out of control. It stars Andrew Scott, Damson Idris and Topher Grace.
‘Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too’ focuses on lonely teenager yearns to connect with her favourite pop star – whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears. It stars Miley Cyrus, Angourie Rice and Madison Davenport.
‘Striking Vipers’ focuses on two estranged college friends as they reunite in later life, triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever. It stars Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff and Ludi Lin.
Created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones, the new season will star Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport and Ludi Lin.
