Little is known about the project, other than it is due to enter production next month in the Carolinas.
Having been linked to numerous features including Brother Jack, (an adaptation of his own novel Sixty-Six and a film version of Anatoly Kuznetsov’s Babi Yar0) Levins recent credits comprise HBO film You Don’t Know Jack, for which he was nominated for fifteen Emmy’s, and a bizzare coffee commercial, in which he directed Al Pacino.
With a back catalogue that includes Rain Man, Bugsy and Good Morning, Vietnam, Isopod looks an interesting move for Levinson. Details are currently scarce but a quick Google opens a world of wonderfully horrific possibilities.
