Thanks to /Film for heads up on this one as otherwise it may well have passed me by. I knew Back to the Future was 25 years old this year but I didn’t realise it was today! Fortunately there is still 1 hour left of the 3rd July, 2010 which means that for the next 60 minutes, I can sit here thinking that one of the greatest movies of all time is celebrating a very special birthday.

Back to the Future has to be one of the movies I’ve watched more times than any other. I absolutely love everything about it. I was 5 when first movie was released and I’ve literally grown up with it.

Back to the Future was produced by Steven Spielberg , written by Bob Gale and directed by Robert Zemeckis and has become a classic that still lives on as one of the all time greats. The clock tower set has recently been rebuilt after a fire the Universal Studios set destroyed it 2 years ago which shows that the movie is very special to the studio also.

Back to the Future made Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd a household name to this day and on behalf of all of us here at HeyUGuys, thanks to everyone and anyone who had anything to do with Back to the Future, and Happy 25th Birthday!!!

If you’re reading this and have never seen Back to the Future or it’s two sequels, stop what you’re doing now, buy it and put it on!

Here’s the original trailer from the first movie and a couple of posters that we’ve put up recently.
