With Resident Evil 6 rapidly approaching its October release date Capcom has announced a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming survival horror game. This edition is for both Xbox 360 and PS3 and is only available from select unannounced retailers. From the looks of it, it will be region labeled for Europe (fingers crossed for a NA release); also no price has been set yet for this edition.
The Resident Evil 6 CE will contain the following goodies:
- RE6 Game
- Zombie Steel Book
- Exclusive RE6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game
- RE6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners and Avatar DLC code for Xbox 360 owners
- Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size only)
- ‘The RE6 forces emblems’ – High quality enameled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi , Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and RE6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki.
- All these items are packaged in a lenticular “Needle Bomb” Collector’s box
I checked popular UK online retailers Zavvi.com, ShopTo.net to see if the pre-order was live on either site, but neither had the version available yet. However ShopTo.net had a Limited Steelbook edition available for pre-order (pictured above).
