HBO has dropped the first teaser trailer for Armando Iannucci’s space tourism comedy series ‘Avenue 5’ featuring Hugh Laurie as the captain of the ship.
Set forty years in the future when the solar system is everyone’s oyster, the series stars Hugh Laurie as the captain of a space cruise ship with Josh Gad as the rich owner of the line. Zach Woods, Nikki Amuka, Rebecca Front, Lenora Crichlow, Suzy Nakamura, and Ethan Phillips co-star.
Iannucci created the series, directed the show’s pilot episode, and will serve as executive producer. Kevin Loader, Simon Blackwell, Tony Roche, and Will Smith will also executive produce.
