On Sunday night, the only place to be seen was the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGS) which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Just some of the stars who were present included Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush from the King’s Speech, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis from Black Swan, Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Mark Wahlberg from The Fighter, Nicole Kidman from Rabbit Hole and then a whole host of TV celebrities from Glee, Boardwalk Empire and many more.
Enest Borgnine took the Lifetime Achievement awards and it wasnt until I saw the on montage of all the amazing movies that he’s done that I realised just how much he’s been in! Apparently he’s done over 140 movies with his most recent being RED aged 94 alongside Bruce Willis, Hellen Mirren and Morgan Freeman who presented the award.
