To celebrate the release of Argylle, the latest thrilling film from director Matthew Vaughn, we sat down with the filmmaker himself and some of his eclectic cast to find out more.
Chatting to Vaughn, we talk about the origins of the film, his exceptional choices when it comes to music and mic drops (there are some real doozies in this one), the biggest challenges when dealing with the spy thriller, casting, and why he wanted the film to feel like a throwback to the films he loved growing up in the 80s.
Next, we pick the brains of John Cena and Ariana DeBose and their excitement and easy “yes” when Vaughn called, why the spy genre is still so popular, the “escapism” factor of the film, 80s action films and whether they have what it takes to be a spy.

Plot:
Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) is Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie.
