Anthony Hopkins has officially signed on to appear in Fernando Meirelles’ sex drama 360.
Hopkins will star opposite Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener), whose involvement was confirmed last week.
In addition, ThePlaylist are reporting both Eminem (8 Mile) and Frances McDormand (Burn After Reading) are in talks to feature in some capacity.
360 was penned by the Academy Award-nominee Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon) and is based on the 1900 play Reigen, which follows couples and their sexual encounters.
A co-production between BBC Films and ORF Fernsehfilm, 360 will likely film early next year.
