Angelina Jolie has entered into negotiations to join Marvel and Disney’s adaptation of the Jack Kirby comic ‘The Eternals’.

No word of which role Jolie would be up for has been made public. ‘The Rider’s’ Chloe Zhao will take the helm on the next chapter of the MCU universe. Matthew and Ryan Firpo have adapted the screenplay.

Making their first appearance in 1976, ‘The Eternals’ are a species of humanity, described as an offshoot of the evolutionary process that created sentient life on Earth. Created by an Alien species known as Celestials, they were created to be the defenders of Earth, which leads to the inevitability of war against their destructive counterparts, the Deviants.
