The cast list for the follow-up to Andy Muschietti’s IT just keeps on growing; The newest actor to join the lineup is Power’s Andy Bean.

Bean will play the adult version of Stanley who was played by Wyatt Oleff in the first offering. Bean will join the previously announced cast of James McAvoy, who will play Bill, Jessica Chastain who is down for Beverly and Bill Hader will be Richie. The Wire’s James Ransone had also tweeted that he would be joining the cast as an adult Eddie but that tweet has since been deleted.

Director Andy Muschietti is returning to direct a script from Gary Dauberman. The story is said to see the adult characters from the first movie returning to Derry as adults to confront Pennywise and the young cast is expected to return for at least one flashback.
