Les Miserables star Amanda Seyfied clearly impressed Family Guy and American Dad creator Seth MacFarlane on the set of his latest live-action movie (Western comedy, A Million Ways to Die in the West) as it has today been revealed that the actress has signed up for the lead female role in Ted 2.
According to Deadline, Ted’s leading actress Mila Kunis will have either only a “tiny role” in the sequel or not appear at all, and the reason for this is simply down to a creative decision that MacFarlane has taken in regards to the plot. There’s no bad blood there – Kunis continues to voice Meg in Family Guy – and the two remain friends (sorry, Hollywood gossip sites!).
Mark Wahlberg will be reprising his role from the first movie 0f the comedy which focused on the relationship between him and his very much alive foul mouthed teddy bear.
MacFarlane meanwhile will return to direct and voice Ted, and is currently hard at work on post-production of A Million Ways to Die in the West, a movie which he directs and stars in alongside Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron, Seyfried and Giovanni Ribisi.
