Co-starring alongside each other this summer in The Expendables 2, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are partnering up once more for The Tomb, a prison break action-thriller that marks Arnie’s third film since his return to acting after leaving office last year.

The first look at the film has made its way online via an interview ET had with the leading men, which you can watch below, giving us a look at a greying and bearded Arnie and a sullen Stallone incarcerated.

“Ray Breslin is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.”

Mikael Håfström (1408, Derailed) is behind the camera, with an impressive supporting cast starring alongside the leading duo, including Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio, Sam Neill, Faran Tahir, 50 Cent, and Amy Ryan, and Vinnie Jones adding in a little extra muscle (as if Arnie and Stallone weren’t enough).

No word yet on when we can expect The Tomb to be released next year, but the ever-brilliant eOne have already picked up UK rights with Summit distributing it in the US, so action fans across the world should rest safe in the knowledge that it’s been pre-bought for pretty much every territory that exists. You can’t argue with a Schwarzenegger / Stallone match-up (you obviously wouldn’t survive if you tried).
