Well this is a real treat. There have been a few of these montages popping up lately, with the two most well known being Arnie yelling and Nic Cage going mental.

Now we can bring you a 2010 montage, with clips short and long from (apparently) some 270 of 2010’s cinematic offerings. It is always useful to reflect on what each year has had to offer and although few would have claimed 2010 to be a vintage year, this montage made me realise how much there has been to enjoy, with some outstanding films alongside some impressive, moving or funny moments from less esteemed films. If nothing else, the care and attention that has gone into editing the montage is worthy of praise, as themes and lines are sequenced together to great effect.

Anyway, enjoy the clip and then comment below on your favourite film, line or scene of 2010.

Thanks to Gawker for the heads up.

Dave Roper
Dave has been writing for HeyUGuys since mid-2010 and has found them to be the most intelligent, friendly, erudite and insightful bunch of film fans you could hope to work with. He's gone from ham-fisted attempts at writing the news to interviewing Lawrence Bender, Renny Harlin and Julian Glover, to writing articles about things he loves that people have actually read. He has fairly broad tastes as far as films are concerned, though given the choice he's likely to go for Con Air over Battleship Potemkin most days. He's pretty sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey is the most overrated mess in cinematic history.
