It’s that time of year again, as the world of film dances under the sharpened focus of the entertainment spotlight with its most potent beacon, Uncle Oscar, leading the way as a bright beaming figurehead of excellence.
Yes folks, it’s the Oscar noms. Which gives me an excuse to pull this picture out once again.
A few days ago it was The Gran Budapest Hotel, Boyhood and Birdman which led the way in the BAFTA nominations and they was widely expected to spill themselves across the board across the pond.
