Dr Seuss’ The Lorax soared to the top of the US box office earlier this year, and has finally reaching UK theatres today in three dimensions.

All we’ve seen over the course of the past year has been pretty impressive, and now Universal have released two great new featurettes for its release on our shores, showcasing the impressive talents of Danny DeVito, lending his voice not just to the English version of the film, but also the international dubbed versions; as well as a cheat-sheet from Zac Efron on how to get the girls.

“From the creators of Despicable Me and the imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the 3D-CG feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.”

Alongside Efron and DeVito, Taylor Swift, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, and Betty White lend their voices for an impressive voice cast.

Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda are behind the camera, having worked together on Illumination Entertainment’s fantastic first film, Despicable Me.

The Lorax is in cinemas in the UK as of today, and is set to be released on DVD/Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D in the US on 7th August. In case you need any more persuading, here are those great new featurettes. Enjoy.
