5. Batwoman

BATW

It’s already been confirmed that Nightwing (Dick Grayson, a former Robin) will be part of the new Batman’s universe, so there’s no reason why Batwoman couldn’t also fit into the experienced Caped Crusader’s world as well. There’s a real demand for more female superheroes on the big screen, and Kate Kane is certainly unique due to her Jewish descent and the fact that she’s a lesbian. She’s quickly become one of DC’s most popular characters, and the recent controversy surrounding the fact that the publisher didn’t want her to get married has given Batwoman the kind of mainstream attention which would lead to a movie generating more interest than it may have done a few months ago.
