3. Get Mystique
Mystique was a major part of Bryan Singer’s X-Men movies, played a pivotal role in X-Men: First Class and looks set to do the same in X-Men: Days of Future Past next year. So, why not give her a role in Wolverine’s next solo outing too? Logan hunts down the blue skinned beauty after she betrays the X-Men, but as well as being a story that features the two mutants outmanoeuvring each other at every turn in the present, it also reveals some of their shared history in flashbacks to the 1920s when they went on a Bonnie-and-Clyde-esque robbery spree in Kansas! A movie based on this story would offer up a fascinating new spin on both characters.
