10. Carol Ferris (Blake Lively – Green Lantern)
Green Lantern was a pretty terrible superhero movie and that’s depressing on a number of levels (right now, we should have had a second instalment in the franchise and seen the titular character pop up in Man of Steel, setting up a Justice League movie), but its saving graces were Ryan Reynolds, and to a lesser extent, Blake Lively. While she may have been unconvincing as the head or Ferris Air, it was a refreshing and surprising change for her Carol to immediately see through Hal Jordan’s poor attempt at disguising himself with a domino mask. It’s baffling why so many superhero love interests fail to recognise their other half, and in that respect, Lively – who had a lot of chemistry with future real-life husband, Ryan Reynolds – was a refreshing change of pace.
