Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) has signed on to star in Summit Entertainment’s Ender’s Game.
Steinfeld will feature opposite Asa Butterfield (Hugo) in the sci-fi action-thriller. Harrison Ford (Blade Runner) is also said to be in talks for a potential lead role.
Based on Orson Scott Card’s novel of the same name, Ender’s Game centers on an unusually talented child whose sent to an advanced military school in space as preparation for a future invasion.
Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is attached to direct his own adapted screenplay.
Ender’s Game is currently scheduled for release on March 29, 2013.
