I’m going to start this off by saying that in no way, shape, or form am I looking forward to the follow-up to Tom Six’s The Human Centipede [First Sequence], entitled The Human Centipede 2 [Full Sequence].

For those that might be, you’ll be interested to see that the sequel has had a new poster released for it, courtesy of /Film, in celebration of its world premiere at the end of last week at this year’s Fantastic Fest.

Our man in the States caught the film at its premiere and you can read his review of it here. As you can probably imagine, it wasn’t particularly well loved by him. I’m sure I’d share the same opinion – having seen the first one, which I lack any nice things to say about – but thanks to the BBFC’s ban on the film getting a UK release, theatrical or otherwise, I’ll hopefully never have to have the experience of watching the sequel. Ever. If you read the BBFC’s reasons for banning the film, something which they so rarely do, then you’ll understand why.

Nonetheless, as a reporter, it’s my job to bring you the news, whether I like it or not. And so on that note, here is the new poster for the sequel. If you want to, you can click it to enlarge. But I wouldn’t recommend it. It doesn’t get any better when you make it go big. The idea for the poster itself deserves some credit, because strictly speaking it’s not an awful poster and it’s really the only way to advertise a film like that, but given that what it’s advertising really isn’t up my street, I can’t bring myself to paint it in all that much of a positive light.
