It was recently revealed that Marvel Studios characters will appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but which ones? Captain America and Iron Man are prime candidates, though there’s always a chance Marvel could surprise us by bringing in an unexpected name such as Ant-Man or Hawkeye. However, it’s Tony Stark who ultimately seems the most likely choice.

After all, it sounds like he’ll be a mentor of sorts to Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, and in the video below, Robert Downey Jr. teases the possibility of him showing up in the wall-crawler’s solo outing next year. He also seems to [SPOILER ALERT] indicate that we’ll see Tony sharing scenes with Aunt May (played by Marisa Tomei here) in Civil War.

As you might expect, this interview with the actor is great fun, though he still has plenty of interesting things to say about “nervous” Captain America co-star Chris Evans and being de-aged in Civil War for scenes depicting Tony as a young man. Could we be about to pay a visit to the day the character’s parents were killed by The Winter Soldier? Time will tell.

In other interesting Spider-Man news, Dom Holland (Tom’s father) is promoting a book in which he promises to shed some light on how his son landed this iconic Marvel role.
