Django-Unchained-PosterDjango Unchained is just a few weeks from hitting the big screen in the US, and there’s naturally a healthy dose of buzz surrounding the film in the midst of the Oscar season.

We caught the final US trailer for the film last week, giving us another brilliant look at what promises to be one of the best films of the year, and now The Weinstein Company have released a new TV spot, teasing us with yet more awesome footage.

“Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.”

Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio lead a terrific cast, starring alongside Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Jonah Hill, Don Johnson, and Walton Goggins.

Tarantino is naturally once more directing from his own script, reuniting with executive producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein.

Django Unchained will be released in the US on Christmas Day, primed for an awards campaign in the coming month. It will then be coming to the UK slightly later, set for an 18th January release in the New Year, but when it comes to Tarantino, you know it’s going to be every bit worth the wait. Here’s the latest TV spot to prove it.
