Baymax

We’ve already seen the first impressive trailer for Big Hero 6 – if you missed it, you can check it out by clicking here – and now a new set of character posters have been released for the Marvel Studios and Disney Animation feature which stars T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, and Jamie Chung.

The movie marks the first collaboration between the two studios since the House of Mouse scooped up the comic book publisher for a cool $4 billion a few years back.

While Big Hero 6 isn’t set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and doesn’t feature big name characters like Captain America or Iron Man, but the movie which is based loosely on a few short-lived comic book series’ of the same name is directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams and looks like an awful lot of fun.

The posters (which you can see the full-size versions of by clicking on the thumbnails below) put the spotlight on each of the main characters, and they look like a great cast of colourful heroes who will be very popular with the younger crowd when Big Hero 6 is released later this year in the US and in the UK next year.

With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who’s catapulted into the midst of a dangerous plot and must transform his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and a diverse group of friends into a band of high-tech heroes.

The voice cast of Big Hero 6 includes T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, and Jamie Chung, and is currently set to be released in 3D on November 7th, 2014. However, it won’t land in the UK until next February!
