The prosperous working relationship between Michael Shannon and director Jeff Nichols is evident yet again in their latest collaboration Midnight Special, and we had the privilege of sitting down with the former to discuss his role in this indelible sci-fi road movie, and the joy of working with such a close friend.
He also discusses his forthcoming role playing the king of rock ‘n roll, in biopic Elvis & Nixon – released in the UK this summer.
