Ahead of its return in the US later this month, The CW has released an action-packed new trailer for The Flash. There are a lot of big reveals, but perhaps none more significant than the return of The Trickster.
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill played the villain in the short-lived ’90s series, and while this will be a different version of that character, this preview does use photos from the show while showing the villain’s past exploits. In The Flash, he will be in prison when someone new takes over the mantle of The Trickster.
We also get to see Liam McIntyre (Spartacus) as The Weather Wizard and Peyton List (Mad Men) as Captain Cold’s sister, Golden Glider. The exciting trailer teases time travel and a big Reverse-Flash reveal as well.
The next episode of The Flash is titled “Out of Time” and will see The Weather Wizard appear in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde’s death, and sets his sights on Joe, who shot Clyde. Meanwhile, Cisco looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn’t add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Based on the trailer, it seems huge twists are coming!
